Tel Aviv 4 Fun To Go
            the southern neighbourhoods
Neve Tzedek, FLorentin and the South of Tel Aviv

The south of Tel Aviv though being poorer has some beautiful in a shabby style
    picturesque spots, and neighbourhoods.

Neve Tzedek is one of Tel Aviv oldest neighbourhood and it is a real tourist gem.
Old houses and narrow alleys,  with beautiful little shops and cafes, bars. Lately since the
neighbourhood is become trendy many parts of it are overgoing reconstructions and
remodelling so it is a little hard and noisy but still beautiful. In the heart of Neve Tzedek is
the Suzanne Dellal art center that consists in an impressive group of buildings and a
wonderful patio and piazza. Neve Tzedek photo gallery

To go to Neve Tzedek by foot the best way is to come from Allenby street get into Ahad
Haam that leads you to what used to be the tallest building in Tel Aviv, Kolbo Shalom and
from there you just go on towards the sea through Shabazzi street,  the main street of
Neve Tzedek, which is packed with shops, cafes etc.

Kerem Hateimanim  - a neighbourhood north to Neve Tzedek between Hacarmel
Market and the Old Opera that looks like little village and is mostly a residential area
narrow streets with small houses and some nice hummus places.

Florentin is a neighbourhood that is currently developing from what used to be a small
industry and workshop area to a trendy arty sohu style area with bars, clubs, cafes and
some interesting interior design shops. Florentin photo gallery

To go to Florentin you can take bus number 1 or 2 from Dizengoff and get off on the
Alya street corner to Florentin street there you just go to the left up on Florentin street,
and check also the other streets around such as Yedidia Frankel, Matalon, and more.
Not far from there back to the north is the Levinsky Spice Market and the Food market
    called Alya.

Gan Hahashmal zone- The garden called Gan Hahashmal (Electricity garden) used to
be a  meeting place for gay and now the area around it has become a trendy fashion and
entertainment area with small designer shops and some clubs like f.e.  Levontine 7

Old Bus station is colorful and has lots of cheap shops but in grand it is a  poor, dirty
and neglected area not recommended for tourists. Also the new Bus station area is a
disaster and it has the feel of a third world place. So go there only if you must.
