The flea market ne of the main attractions of the Old Jaffa city especially if you're looking for bargains, antiques and other second-hand treasures at a reasonable price, or just souvenirs to bring home from your visit to Israel. The flea market is in walking distance from the clock-tower and is divided into 3 main areas. First on the mains street there are antique furniture, carpets and oriental ornaments shops, then there are 2 covered alleys where you can find colorful clothes, jewelry and souvenirs and then there is a little farther the open market that is the real flea market meaning that there you can find really old second hand junk stuff if you are into that ... Recently the Market area has become trendy and there are new stylish shops, cafés and bars. In the summer the Market is open on Thursday nights with live music and a great atmosphere. |
