Tel Aviv is a great place if you like food and appreciate fresh products and gourmet restaurants. You can find here a variety of foods : Mediterranean, Italian, French, Chinese, Japanese, American, Brazilian, North African, Romanian, Balkan, Argentinean, Indian, and sea food of course. You can find food not only in restaurants but also in cafés, bars, pubs and clubs. Some of the places are a café in the morning a restaurant at noon and a bar at night the bottom line is wherever and whenever you go out in Tel Aviv you will never be hungry.... Most Restaurants offer Lunch Deals called here "business meal" which is a fix menu at a reduced price usually on week days between noon to 4 or 6 pm. It is very worthwhile to go for it :-) if you are on a budget. If you decide to go to a specific restaurant I recommend to make a reservation by phone especially for evening meals.
