People are standing in line to get a table. The menu is not very large but has some nice dishes. I love the buffalo wings, the chicken nuggets are nice too and they serve also pasta and fish and rice dishes all for 30 NIS. The Brewhouse 11 Rotschild Blvd Tel: 03-5168666 A real brewery with all the copper equipment decorating the place. Nice sausages, and other meat dishes. Great house made bier of course Bugsy 26 Florentine street Tel: 03-6813138 A resto bar opened all day with cheap drinks and cosy atmosphere in the heart of the Florentine neighbourhood the Soho of Tel Aviv. Serves nice Israeli breakfast with a fruit pancake as desert. Altering DJ's playing various style of music nightly. Dubnov 8 8 Dubnov Street Tel: 03-6968655 Not always placed named by their adress are where they are supposed to be but in this case it is true, Dubnov 8 is situated right there in the middle of the culture triangle Tel Aviv Museum, the Opera and the Museum workshops. It has a modern style square bar and also a nice terrace and garden. During day time it serves as a café restaurant and at night it is a bar. The food is decent and the atmosphere nice. Havana 106 Dizengoff (corner Frishman) Tel: 03-5271005 A new resto bar Cuban and south American music and drinks and good food at fair prices. Wonderful Mohitos 1/2 Litter for 38 Shekel very good value and also a variety of tapas to go with it on the side.
4 Tarsat Street (in the Mann Auditorium Building and Yakob Garden) Tel: 03-5289289 Located in the cultural triangle between Habima theater, Mann Auditorium Concert Hall and Helena Rubinstein Museum of Modern Art Helena is a modern cafe bar that servers lunches during the day and transforms into a NY style bar in the night. Beautiful decor and lovely outside deck in the Yacob secluded garden. King George 20 Hamelech George Street King George street is full of surprises. The Bezalel Market, The Gan Meir Park, the little alleys Almonit and Plonit. So if you get hungry while visiting all these wonders King Georger resto bar is the place where you can eat cheap and a lot. By the same owner as the place on Ben Gurion Ave, King George offers a festivity of pasta and other dishes for very nice prices. I had a chicken wings with chips that were nice and my son had a huge hamburger that he praised but the cherry on the top was the chicken liver with puree that my daughter ordered and she said it was delicious all together with drinks was something like 100 Shekels ! Shalvata Beach Bar Tel Aviv Port Tel:03-5441279 Open only in the summer months. Great place to be at sunset - the white chairs and bar , the handsome waiters dressed in white serving tasty Mediterranean food on huge round trays... A glass of wine and it is paradise on earth... Chilled and iced cocktails and nice music. It is open all day and serves also breakfast. |
